With lush green views and adequate sunlight exposure daily, our client from Nokomis, FL, asked us to do a timely re-screening project for their pool enclosure.

They know the value of enjoying nature in the peace of their backyard– and the best way to enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and a splash in the pool the most is to replace the problematic panels with new ones. (Related: Full Re-screening of Pool Enclosure in Estero)

Phifer’s 18 x 14 Fiberglass Mesh Screens are among the crowd-favorite choices for our re-screening projects. This is a trusted brand for insect screening on your pool or patio, and they offer a great selection of fiberglass pool and patio screens to your benefit.

If you want to enjoy a pest-free day by the pool, you can count on the material to protect you from most insects while withstanding windblown debris.

Our client, in particular, wanted a material that offered extra strength. We went with Phifer screens as they can withstand debris from harsh winds and storms while keeping out most insects and still allowing the refreshing breezes to flow through.

The Entire Project Process

Our team rehabilitated the old screened pool enclosure by removing the old screens and rubber screen splines, removing the old pressure washing, painting, and finally re-screening the entire screened pool enclosure.

The highlight of this project? The painting job. We painted and recoated the metal frame structure surface with a new industrial-grade exterior marine epoxy paint coating finish that’s designed to last for many years.

Want to keep your pool free from leaves and other debris when you’re using it (and even if not) too?

Our team at Gulf Coast Aluminum will help you with your screen enclosure needs. We have tons of aluminum, rolls, and mesh rolls and LOTS of experience. Contact us today for an estimate of your next project!
