We built another screen enclosure this week, and this time, it was for a client in Naples. Mr. Altunis wanted to have more outdoor space, so he called us to install a screen enclosure for him. For this project, we will build a 28’x40′ screen enclosure with concrete.

But before we got to work, we first had to prepare permits, engineering, site plans, and do surveying. Since we have a dedicated project manager, our client didn’t have to worry about any of the details.

After settling the requirements, we head on-site. Before installing the enclosure, we first had to lay out the concrete. To make it look great, we used concrete paint and texture finish, check out the results above. Next, we continued on to building the screen enclosure.

Most of the frames needed were prefabricated in our facility. For the rest, we did site-specific laser cut and leveling. The aluminum extrusion has a white 2604 Powder Coat finish. We then connected the structure using Blue-Tap Nylotech, which are durable fasteners that come with a 10-year warranty, as well as stainless steel tapcons with pro-tect sleeve and cap system. The roof type of this enclosure is called a Mansard. We also installed a 7″ supergutter and two upgraded phat frame doors, which are not flimsy builders grade.

For the ultimate view, we used a Clearview configuration of members. We completed this project in a week. Our client is glad that there are no frames obstructing the view and that he finally has an insect-free outdoor area.
