If you’re a dog owner, you know how hyper pets can get in the mornings. Some pets just need to take care of business (if you know what I mean) first thing in the morning. And then comes the zoomies.

This homeowner in Naples has an almost perfect setup. They have a screened-in lanai with a small “pet door” that goes out to their yard. They can easily let their dog out to do their own thing without having to leave their home, and look out for their pet while they take their coffee inside the lanai.

The only thing is, the undertruss is already old, and the “pet door” is really just a small hole covered by a dirty and chewed up cloth. Even the dog was clearly up for something better…

We reframed their lanai with a new bronze undertruss enclosure and Superscreen 17/14. These are sturdy against extreme weather conditions and are also pet proof. This new undertruss lanai included 2 clearview doors and of course, a large pet door.

Now our client can enjoy having their outdoor time with a beautiful lanai that gives them the clearest outdoor views. The pet door is no longer an eyesore and their dog can come inside and outside any time it wants.
