A lot of homeowners are having their screen enclosure converted to clear view just like this couple. Clear view screens are worth the hype for a couple reasons. For one, it is designed to feature the view from your pool area or backyard without any obstructions. With a clear view enclosure, you’ll be able to enjoy the comfort of not having to deal with bugs while enjoying the outdoors without feeling caged in.

For these homeowners to enjoy a clear view from their pool area, what we did for the screen enclosure conversion, first of all, is configure the new vertical posts. The bronze color for the aluminum structure of the enclosure not only made it look sleek but it also helped with maintaining the clear view theme, as dark colored screen enclosure helps in letting light in for a seamless view.

Picture Window in Punta Gorda

Aside from the picture windows, we also restored the rest of the screen enclosure for this pool area. First, we re-screened the whole enclosure with Super Screen 17/14. Then we replaced the old and rusty fasteners with Blue-tap Nylotech and Stainless Pro-Tect Tapcons. To finish it all off, we repainted the aluminum structure with Sherwin Williams Hi-Solids Polyurethane which was sprayed on electrostatically, to make the structure look new. This pool enclosure used to be a white, worn out pool cage but look at it now…

Before and After Picture Window

More than the aesthetic concerns of restoring their enclosure, we also had to make sure that the structure is solid and safe. So, we updated the entire main load bearing wall to current building code. We used #16 size fasteners for optimal strength and connection efficiency. We utilized solid, not stitched vertical posts to decrease probability of damage in a hurricane.

With its new bronze-colored structure and panoramic view thanks to the picture window, the homeowners will be able to have such a fun and relaxing time in their own backyard.
