Do you need a bigger outdoor area? We can install a screen room to extend your outdoor space! This week, we built a screen room for a client in Cape Coral. Mr. Ferrer wanted to have a place where he can relax and enjoy the outdoors without bugs pestering him, so he called us to get the job done.

Before we started building on-site, we first had to prepare the necessary permits, engineering, and site plans. Our client didn’t have to worry about anything as we have a dedicated project manager to handle these matters.

After getting the requirements, we head on to his home. For this project, we will build a 10’x22′ screen room. We mostly prefabricate the frames in our facility then bring them on-site. For other parts, we do site-specific laser cut and leveling. These frames have a 2604 Powder Coat finish, which was meticulously applied to withstand the harsh Florida sun and other elements. To ensure longevity and structural integrity of the screen room, we used Blue-Tap fasteners, a durable model that comes with a 10-year warranty. We then screened it in with Superscreen 14/17, a durable mesh that also comes with a 10-year warranty and is three times stronger than the standard screen.

We also wanted to give our client the ultimate view and used a Clearview configuration of the members. We installed a door and used 3″ insulated composite with one fan beam for the roof. This type of roof lasts longer than a pan roof since it is made out of metal but has a foam core, which will help provide more insulation underneath and withstand impact. This means it will be quieter when it’s raining and will be cooler even during a hot, sunny day. It is also durable that it can carry the weight of at least one person and it is more convenient for repairs and maintenance.

Our efficient crew completed this project in less than a week. Mr. Ferrer is glad that he finally has an outdoor area where he can relax in without worrying about pesky bugs invading it.
