This week, we completed an enclosure restoration and picture window conversion project for a client from Lehigh Acres. This is what their old pool cage looked like:

It had rusty fasteners, fading paint, and frames blocking the view. To make it look brand new again, they availed our Lifetime Restoration Package, so we re-screened, replaced the fasteners with lifetime warranty stails steel tapcons with finish, and repainted using High solids Polyurethane 2 part epoxy far better than any factory. They also upgraded it with a Silver Clearview Conversion, which includes re-engineering the entire front wall for maximum view.

Before we started building on-site, we first prepared the permits and work on the engineering and site plans. Our client did not have to worry about the details nor wait that long since we can get permits faster than anyone else.

For the Clearview conversion, we prefabricated most of the frames in our facility. This picture window has a span size of 40′ and converted it using new vertical posts, dramatically increasing the structural integrity. We used solid instead of stitched vertical posts and then #16 size fasteners for optimal strength and connection efficiency.

We then continued with the restoration process. First, we covered the entire pool and deck area with plastic. To ensure the longevity and structural integrity of the pool cage, we used Blue-tap Nylotech and Stainless Pro-Tect Tapcons, which are durable fasteners that come with a 10-year warranty. For the paint, we used Sherwin Williams Hi-Solids Polyurethane, which was sprayed on electrostatically and meticulously. Lastly, we installed Superscreen 14/16, a mesh that can be installed on large openings while withstanding strong wind pressure without tearing.

We completed this project in less than two weeks. Our client is glad that their pool cage looks brand new again and that there are no more frames blocking the view.
