Do you want a sturdy pool enclosure with no frames blocking the view? We can restore and re-engineer existing pool cages into a picture window to make it look brand new again and maximize the view, just like this enclosure in Bonita Springs. Mr. and Ms. Hadad wanted to get their pool cage restored and converted into a picture window, so they called us to get the job done.

Here is what their old pool enclosure looked like. It had rusty fasteners, rust stains, faded paint, and moldy frames. To make it look brand new again, our client availed our Lifetime Restoration Package, which included re-screening, repainting with High solids Polyurethane 2 part epoxy far better than any factory, and replacing the fasteners with lifetime warranty stails steel tapcons with finish – which are better materials that come with a longer warranty.

Before we started working on-site, we first had to prepare the necessary permits, engineering, and site plans. After doing more than a hundred pool enclosure projects, we can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else.

After settling the requirements, we head on to their home and the first thing we did was to cover the entire pool and deck with plastic to avoid getting any debris or paint drops on it. Next, we get started with the picture window conversion. For this project, the four posts in the middle front wall were removed. This picture window has a span size of 34′ and we were able to convert part of the front wall into a clear view by utilizing the existing vertical posts, dramatically increasing the structural integrity.

Finally, we continued with the restoration process. We replaced the fasteners throughout the entire cage, using Nylotec and Pro-Tect system. This is a durable model that comes with a 10-year warranty. After, we applied Bronze Hi-solid Polyurethane with an electrostatic charge, which is warrantied for 3 years. Lastly, we screened it in with Superscreen, a durable mesh that is three times stronger than the standard screen. It is great for large openings and can withstand strong wind pressure for a long time. We also replaced the two doors with 36×80 standard doors.

Our efficient crew was able to complete this project in two weeks. Mr. and Ms. Hadad are happy that their pool cage looks new again and has fewer frames obstructing the view. With the materials we used, they won’t have need an upgrade for a long time.
