We converted another pool enclosure into a picture window, but this time, the client from Cape Coral also got it restored. Mr. Landry wanted to maximize the view and make his pool cage look brand new again. This is what his old enclosure looked like.

He availed our Lifetime Restoration Package, which includes re-screening, replacing the fasteners with lifetime warranty stails steel tapcons with finish, and repainting using High solids Polyurethane 2 part epoxy, far better than any factory. These are better materials that come with a longer warranty.

But before we started with our restoration and re-engineering process, we first had to acquire permits and work on the engineering and site plans. We can efficiently get this process done and get permits faster than anyone else.

Here is what the pool cage looked like before the restoration process. We mostly prefabricate the frames in our shop and then use existing vertical posts to convert the pool cage into a clear view, dramatically increasing the structural integrity. For this project, we re-engineered the front wall and 4 panels by the left return wall.

Next, we continued with the restoration process. We replaced all old and rusty fasteners with Blue-tap Nylotech and Stainless Pro-Tect Tapcons. These are durable fasteners that ensure longevity and structural integrity of your enclosure and come with a 10-year warranty. Next, we used bronze Sherwin Williams Hi-Solids Polyurethane on the entire structure, which was sprayed on electrostatically. It was meticulously applied to withstand the harsh Florida sun and other elements. Lastly, we re-screened with Superscreen 14/16. This mesh is great for large openings and can withstand strong wind pressure without tearing. It’s 3x stronger than the standard screen so this client won’t need an upgrade for a long time.

We completed this project in less than two weeks. Our client is happy that his pool cage looks brand new again and that he can enjoy the view without any frames obstructing it.
